Message from the Chair:
The EMSE department embodies an integrated program of research, teaching, and public service in the disciplines of technology management and engineering systems modeling and development, and in the enhancement of solution methods for such models. Professional engineering managers must understand both the technologies being developed and the rapidly changing marketplace in which these technologies will be applied. Engineering management and systems engineering is an interdisciplinary, problem-solving field. The department develops innovative educational and research programs that cross disciplinary and departmental boundaries. |
