Biography

Enrique Campos-Náñez is currently an Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering at the Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, The George Washington University. He holds a B.Sc. in mathematics from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), a M.Sc. in Operations Research from Stanford University, and a Ph. D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. Prior to his doctoral and academic work, he worked as a consultant for the Mexican industry in the areas of process simulation and optimization. His research interests include simulation-based optimization, dynamic games, and their applications to problems of decentralized control and regulation of large networks, such as sensor networks.
